Install instructions

1) Download .zip file, extract it, and then go to the .exe (or platform equivalent) and run it. If that doesn't work, proceed to the next step. If it does work, proceed to step 5.

2) Head over to this location: https://www.dropbox.com/home/Labertino_BetaVersTot...

3) Download "Laberinto_vers1.6_Data" and "Laberinto_vers1.6.exe" (or platform equivalent), and then make a folder to put both the .exe (or platform equivalent) and the Data folder in.

-This is to ensure that the player doesn't get an error message stating that it couldn't run the .exe file simply because it didn't have the data necessary. (Note: .exe may be under a different name on some different computer brands, unfortunately; for Linux it's just x86 and Mac I think it's just the title "Labertino_MacOS1.6")

4) If all else fails, then contact me at @TheRealJoeBrock on twitter for details as to how I can help with the current version of the product. If anything, I'm going to try to get Laberinto up on Kongregate and/or GameJolt if possible in the near future (and if not near, then relatively soon). Though the game is pretty much done, I'd rather not have someone fail due to my own incompetence as an artist and so if there's any problems, just let me know and I'll get right to you as quick as I can.

5) Play this game in a dark lit room, put on some headphones, turn up the volume, and hope ya get spooked!

UPDATE: I recently deleted the former .exe because there was a bug that would have made it too easy to get some of the notes, but unfortunately now itch won't take my new .exe as a result. So, in the meantime, I'm just not going to upload to itch.io, and instead just link it over to my dropbox so that way everyone can see this. Alongside this, I've developed a version for Mac and Linux so that way players can play from any platform. In the meantime, just follow the link over to the dropbox page where you can download both the .exe file and the data file to go along with it.

UPDATE 2: Currently struggling with Linux .exe. Go to the dropbox instead!

UPDATE 3: Linux version is up!

UPDATE 4: Just uploaded zip files which (hopefully) will be make the process of downloading this stuff easier for users.

UPDATE 5*: The game is now on Kongregate and Newgrounds (for Mozilla): http://www.kongregate.com/games/Lord_North/laberin...

*Note, though: I highly recommend just downloading it.
